Venture - Diaries From The Battlegrounds

Overview

 “Push!!! These flanks are weak!!!” might be the first advise you may hear when entering the game. Thrown into five epochs of human art of warfare you have to proof your skills in tactics and leadership.

An advisor will assist the strategically underdogs, whether battling for the caves in Stone Age, conquering castles in the Middle Ages, protecting trade routes against Pirates, defending villages in World War 2 or reaching for the stars in outer space.

The gameplay is divided into different stages like the reinforcement or attack phase where the player has to cleanse out enemy units and whole hostile tribes.

The game features a singleplayer mode filled with varying skilled artificial opponents and a multiplayer mode for up to 4 local players.

In this 2d top down turn-based strategy game, the detailed graphics and fondly hand-drawn characters were designed and created by Thijs Bremer, a character artist from the Netherlands.

The lovely and varying soundtrack for each of the five epochs, including the main theme is exclusively composed by Dreyklang.

You can achieve up to 24 trophies in "Venture - Diaries From The Battlegrounds". The trophies are divided into different aspects of gameplay.

Ranks

By collecting experience points (XP) for fulfilled trophies and actions within the battles, you can make your way through the 39 ranks starting with 'Conscript' up to 'Supreme Commander'.

Extras

For achieving the trophies you will be rewarded with extras. For the first 12 trophies the first extra panel will get unlocked and you can scan the tag with your mobile phone by using the Microsoft Tag Reader. For finishing the game with all 24 trophies you have the chance to receive a free serial code for the PC version of {hi}rollerz. You have to be one of the first 50 players to complete the game with all trophies unlocked. When scanning the tag you will be forwarded to a form where you can enter your name and email address. Please note that this information is vital for the registration process of your copy of {hi}rollerz and will not be used for anything than this. You will receive your serial code within 24 hours.
