LibNoise.Xna 1.0.0 released for Windows, Xbox 360 and Zune |
| We have ported the popular C++ library libnoise to C# and optimized it for the use within the Xna Framework. LibNoise.Xna generates coherent noise maps based on a complex generator and operator module network. The generation process and the creation of heightmaps, normal maps and color maps are currently processed on the CPU, but we are working on a GPU-only version of the library to speed it up a little.
We also filed a new publication about BigBlackBlock Gamestudio and Brixx in the Press Lounge. |
